MortgageDaily – Graveyard Journal: Broker Warns About Big Banks
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation reported that banks were closed down last week by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Office of Thrift Supervision and two state bank regulators.
The president of Homeland Federal Mortgage in Tulsa, Okla., issued a statement indicating that the company closed in December, Tulsa World reported.
He blamed federal initiatives that favor big banks and hurt small mortgage brokers.
